The Accu-Chek Instant  is a user-friendly blood glucose monitoring system by Roche Diabetes Care designed for simple, fast, and accurate daily tracking. It features an intuitive color-coded target range indicator, Bluetooth connectivity for the my Sugar app, a wide-edge test strip for easy dosing, and a strip ejector button for hygiene.

Key Features and Specifications:
  • Target Range Indicator: A color-coded scale (blue, green, red) shows if your blood sugar is high, low, or in-range.
  • Fast & Accurate: Provides results in less than 4 seconds and meets ISO 15197:2013/EN ISO 15197:2015 accuracy standards.
  • Easy Handling: Requires a small blood sample (0.6 μL0.6 space mu L
    0.6 L) applied to a wide yellow edge.

  • Data Management: Automatically logs 720 results and connects via USB or Bluetooth to the my Sugar app for reporting.
  • Components: The kit includes the meter, Softclix lancing device, and test strips (sold separately or in bundles)
How to Use:
  1. Prepare: Wash and dry hands, insert a test strip into the meter to turn it on.
  2. Sample: Use the lancing device to get a blood drop and apply it to the wide yellow edge of the strip.
  3. Read: View the result and the target indicator, then use the ejector for disposal.
The system uses 2 CR2032 coin cell batteries and turns off automatically after 90 seconds (or 15 seconds after removing the strip)
